FASHION UP DECEMBER

IF you ask me, the best parts of December happen indoors—cups of hot cocoa (ok, hot tea or coffee), endless meals, shameless lazy days spent in bed (with or without company). But because life does, unfortunately, require going outside occasionally, you’re also going to need appropriate clothing to do so in.

With December comes the excitement of changing your wardrobe,December is the best time of the year for a comfortable yet chic fashion statement.

Life is good in December. I have picked a few outfits for you take inspiration from this December. You can mix and match or recreate the outfit it is totally up to you, though we always recommend adding a personal touch to everything you do so it feels like an original.

Tips and tricks on looking your best this December:

-The first tip of fashion is to wear something you are comfortable in. Never ever go out looking uneasy because it shows on your face and everyone will think that you are trying too hard.

-Match your accessories (for example, your bag with your scarf or your gloves with the pom-pom on your beanie).

-Invest in a good coat in a neutral shade that will look good with every article in your closet

-This is the season for velvet. A slim velvet dress will cover for any party coming in December.

1. DENIM JACKET
Denim jackets are a staple. Every Human must own at least one. It can be ripped, plain, with graphics or whatever according to your style but you must own one. Denim jeans look good with all black clothes or you can match your pants to your jacket. It’s low maintenance so that is a plus point, too.

2. ALL WHITE

All white gives a touch of innocence and purity while looking really sophisticated at the same time. You can wear your white jeans with a white hoodie for casual dressing. Or with a buttoned-down shirt for meetings and formal events. Match it with a pair of heels, so exciting.

3. Velvet Dress

Velvet shouts ‘sophistication’. A goo velvet dress will cover you for any fancy winter event. Dark green, blue, black, white, maroon and rose gold are the colors that look the best. Stay clear of flashy or light colors.

4. SKIRTS

When the weather is a little warmer during the day you can pull out your favorite skirt and wear it with some stockings. Plus, with all the central heating you can keep your legs bare. Add a simple sweater on top for a minimalist look. Skirts look smarter rase up to your waist with your top tucked in. Or else you are just going to look all flowy and sloppy.

5. JUMP SUIT

A good warm jumpsuit works for semi-formal events where jeans would look too casual and suits make you look overdressed. You can even wear your favorite summer jumpsuit in December with the right layers. A smart cardigan or a handsome jacket on top would complete your outfit.

6. SLEEVELESS JACKET

Sleeveless jackets are for days when wearing too many warm clothes will just make you stuffy. You can freely walk around in sleeveless uppers. A navy blue jacket or a black one can go with a lot of your outfits. Or you can also get a sleeveless puffer jacket that goes well with jeans.

7. DRESS UP FOR WORK DRESS DOWN CASUAL

Unfortunately not everyone looks good in suit at every moment ( at work and outside work) Sooo get you an outfit that looks good both at work and at events.

8. Look Expensive In Red

The colour red is in trend this season . Since it’s 3 weeks till Christmas (not like I am counting) that means party season has begun Take fashion inspo and rep Santa’s favorite colour because if there is one colour you should be wearing it’s definitely Red .

9. BLACK AND WHITE COMBO

Black and white would always look chic even if your sporting a simple T-shirt and track pants (although it never hurts to accessories and throw in alot more)

10. GO CHIC WITH ACCESSORIES

Even if it’s a day out with colleagues,or a zoom meeting adding a few gems will help u feel put together and more dressed up (and make it a little less obvious that your wearing the T-shirt you slept in).
